Coming to Destiny 2, many players may have a lot of questions – how to level up here, why there are only 3 classes, what is the subclass system, is it worth doing quests, grinding, or is it easier to order destiny 2 boost.

Destiny 2 is one of the brightest representatives of shooters in the online MMO RPG. Players will explore space and understand the main mechanics of the project in order to repel an alien invasion and continue to explore this unique world from the Bungie company.

When you start the game and select the server on which you are going to play. You have to choose a game class for which you will play in the future and develop in the world of Destiny 2.

In total, Destiny 2 has three active classes and a subclass system that will allow you to choose the direction of the hero’s development and his main focus.

Game classes and their history

All characters that are available for selection are closely woven into the game story and, in addition to leveling, PVP and raids, they also have logical reasons for existing in the Destiny 2 universe.

Titan

According to the game plot, Warlocks are territory explorers and fighters against darkness in all its manifestations. They use various magic to counter their enemies and are the only class that uses more than just physical damage to fight their opponents.

Hunter

A ranged shooter who can draw daggers at any time to engage opponents in close combat and use various disguise techniques to enter and exit combat.

The character can use his potential to attack even the most heavily armored enemies and use his tools to elude direct melee combat, or draw his daggers and reduce it to close combat.

According to the game plot, hunters are masters of shooting with any weapon who acquired these skills after they were expelled from their native lands and had to wander through the desert, confronting local fauna and various enemies, constantly honing their survival skills and skills of shooting and disguise.

Hunters are considered masters of contracts and contract killings, and always carry a signature cape with them, which symbolizes receiving a special mission. According to the code of honor, the hunter must take the cloak from the killed fellow and complete his work.

Quests

Trial of Osiris

At high levels, one of the most interesting and dynamic PVP modes will become available to you, which allow you to have fun and productive time and at the same time earn seasonal legendary weapons that will strengthen your character if you manage to fulfill all the conditions of PVP battles and rounds.

You’ll play in a group of three players that you can recruit from a list of friends, or find random allies and fight against similar squads in short rounds where you need to win to secure the result.

To get a valuable reward, you need to win series in a row – 3 matches, 5 and 7.

To get the legendary weapons that are calculated this season, you need to win and be in time before moving on to the next season. Even one series of victories, which will bring a certain reward, will greatly simplify the passage of future seasons.

You should not be upset because of defeats, because the rounds are fast and dynamic and you need to immediately go try again and gradually you will develop your tactics and regularly gain the necessary series of victories.

Ocelote and Ceb join the League of Legends vs. Dota 2 debate

CEO of G2 Esports Carlos "ocelote" Rodríguez and Sébastien "Ceb" Debs joined the debate of which of the two MOBA titles is better by sharing their thoughts in a very unique way, by releasing videos where they compared the two games to vehicles in order to share their views why they believe their game title is superior to its counterpart.

Shortly after Peng “Doublelift” Yiliang relit the fire under the touchy subject of which of the two MOBA game titles is harder to play, OG Captain Johan “N0tail” Sundstein responded with his own opinion, and it did not take long before Ocelote and later Ceb decided they will share their thoughts with the community as well.

It all started when Ocelote posted a video earlier on Wednesday, comparing the two games to cars in order to prove his point why he believes LoL is better compared to Dota 2. While he started his rant by claiming we will never get the definitive answer for the question, Ocelote did not shy away from making everyone know how he feels about the conflict.

“Let's say League of Legends is like BMW i8, it feels nice to drive, smooth, feels premium, expensive… you're driving a piece of machinery, crafted by the gods,” Ocelote said about League of Legends

“And then you're going to Dota 2, which is a good game, but it's more like 1993 sleeper car, with V6 360 horsepower, 300 pounds of torque… And you beat the i8 in a quarter-mile race, which of course nobody gives a s*** about.”

“There are people for both. You prefer the calculations, the horsepower, but I prefer the magic!”

“You can keep that scrappy a** monster engine for yourself,” he concluded his interesting comparison between the two games.

Ceb decided to take a jab against Ocelote by posting a minute-long video on his official Twitter account earlier this Thursday, which was clearly made as a parody response for Ocelote's video.

Instead of using cars as a comparison method, the French Dota 2 pro compared the two games to bicycles. He claimed Dota 2 is a tricycle, which is “built with passion” and meant for people who know they will be driving a “piece of art”, while League of Legends, which is “a good game” is like a finely-tuned bike, with all the accessories you could want.

Ceb went on to state that the bike will beat the tricycle in a six-meter race, which nobody gives a "f*** about" and that he much prefers the “complexity” the tricycle, or in this case the complexity Dota 2 provides to him as compared to the “safety and comfort” of the League of Legends bike.

While Ceb clearly made the video to mock Ocelote, this is nothing unusual for the French pro, who is known in the Dota 2 community as one of the most outspoken personalities in the scene. Much like Doublelift, Ceb is widely known for his trash-talking and not shying away from having a go with other professionals, teams and even esports organizers or in this case CEO of an esports team.

While he can go a bit over the line at times, Ceb has all the right to be confident in his knowledge about the game and his strong opinions. At the end of the day, Ceb is one of the most successful Dota 2 players in the world and a two-time Dota 2 World Champion, having won two International titles with OG during his three-year-long stay with the European roster.

Ceb is also the fourth-highest paid esports player in history, with $5,489,233.01 in tournament winnings throughout his career, only trailing his three teammates Anathan "ana" Pham, Jesse "JerAx" Vainikka and N0tail.

Seeing how both Ceb and Ocelote decided to share their opinions on the issue, there is a reason to believe they will be ready to fulfil N0tail’s wishes to set a date and do a podcast where he and Ceb would sit down with Doublelift and another representative of League of Legends community and discuss their views about the two MOBA titles.

No dates for the said podcast has been set yet, nor do we know whether Ocelote would be prepared to take time out of his busy schedule and participate in it, but considering he is without a doubt one of the best individuals to join Doublelift, despite North America – Europe rivalry, we just might be seeing or hearing Ocelote in the debate when the right time comes.

How, when and where will the eternal conflict between two communities unfold is anyone's guess, however, we can be sure we haven't heard the last of Ocelote, Ceb, Doublelift and N0tails, as many fans would love to see the four of the most outspoken individuals in the scene take participate in a debate to finally settle the burning question or at least come close to giving the community the answers they hope to hear.

Top 10 esports teams by tournament winnings in 2019

The year 2019 has been a monumental one for the esports industry in many ways. We got to see the birth of new esports teams, the arrival of new esports titles in the competitive scene, but most importantly, 2019 had the most esports tournaments (4583) than any year before, which saw over US $214,000,000 in prize money handed out to players and organizations.

With a lot of tournaments and massive amounts of money being handed out to the best teams and individuals, there were a few which stood out from the rest and earned themselves a spot among the top 10 best-paid esports teams of 2019. Here is the list of those teams based on information provided by esportsearnings.com and the teams themselves.

 

10. FaZe Clan ($3.166 million)

A well-known team in the Call of Duty and CS:GO scene, FaZe have found themselves at the 10th spot of our list, not because of their success in the FPS titles, but rather the contribution of their battle royale players.

Just over one-third of FaZe Clan's 2019 earnings ($1.1 million) came from PUBG, where FaZe claimed three tournament titles and finished second at PUBG Global Championship. With a slightly lower total winning ($964,000) comes FaZe's Fortnite team, while the combined earnings of their Call of Duty and CS:GO teams comes to about $894,000.

Known for being one of the iconic teams in the Call of Duty scene for almost a decade, the newly formed FaZe Atlanta will compete in the upcoming 2020 Call of Duty League, where they will aim to pocket the largest slice of mouth-watering $6,000,000 prize pool, leading us to believe we can expect for FaZe to return to the top 10 list next year as well.

 

9. Sentinels ($3.26 million)

Sentinels made their way on the list solely due to Fortnite and Kyle “Bugha” Giersdorf himself.

At only 16-years of age, Bugha has become the Fortnite World Champion earlier in July, which earned him a staggering $3.000.000, making him one of many young esports millionaires. 

His achievement also won him the title of Esports PC Player of the Year and Esports PC Rookie Player of the Year at the Esports Awards ceremony which took place earlier in November.

Seeing how Sentinels ended the year as one of the top 10 teams in prize winnings solely due to the performance of one of their players only goes to show how massive Fortnite and its competitive scene has become.

 

8. Team Secret ($3.31 million)

Team Secret is a global esports organization, mostly known for their Dota 2 roster, which also earned Team Secret the largest chunk of their $3.31 million winnings throughout the year. 

Team Secret’s Dota 2 roster earned $3.10 million throughout the 2018/19 DPC season, with $2,059,800 solely from their fourth-place finish at The International 2019. The team also won two majors, which combined $700,000.

That being said, Team Secret also fields teams and players in Age of Empires 2, Rainbow Six Siege, Apex Legends, Street Fighter, Super Smash Bros. Melee, Vainglory and PUBG Mobile, who earned a combined total of $213,000 in 2019.

Earlier in November 2019, Team Secret announced they will field a new CS:GO roster in 2020, in a bid to further extend their already impressive portfolio of teams.

 

7. Gen.G ($3.45 million)

While Team Secret made most of their money via Dota 2 events, Gen.G were making waves in PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds scene, where they won three major tournaments including PUBG World Global Championship 2019, which netted them $2.283 million.

Heading into 2020, Gen.G also announced their first CS:GO roster, which will compete in North American CS:GO scene. The roster, while not yet established, does hold a lot of potential, and we can expect Gen.G to appear higher up the list comes December 2020, especially considering they also field two strong teams in Overwatch (Seoul Dynasty) and League of Legends (Gen.G).

 

6. Cooler Esports ($3.51 million)

Cooler Esports are one of the lesser-known esports organizations in the scene, but much like it was the case with Sentinels, Cooler Esports made their way on the list solely due to the success of their Fortnite players.

Their two members Emil “nyhrox” Bergquist and David “aqua” Wang won the Fortnite World Cup Finals – Duo event which earned them a grand total $3 million. Their World Cup winnings alone made up slightly over 85% of Cooler Esports 2019 winnings.

 

5. PSG.LGD ($3.54 million)

PSG.LGD are another esports organization, which has made a name for themselves in Dota 2 professional scene. Their Dota 2 roster has been a force to be reckoned with for years and has finished this season third in The International 2019, which earned them slightly over $3 million.

The same team also won several other tournaments throughout the season, earning a grand total of $3.4 million as reported by the team. Due to it being a team owned by French football giants Paris Saint-Germain, it should not come off as a surprise PSG.LGD also has player involved in FIFA. While less successful than their Dota 2 counterparts, the PSG.LGD FIFA players earned just around $34,000 this year.

 

4. Lazarus ($4.22 million)

Unlike some other esports organizations, Lazarus used a business model which diversified their investment in several smaller esports titles and it seems like that decision was a right one, as it earned the former SetToDestroyX organization just over $4.2 million.

That being said, their biggest payday came from Fortnite World Cup, where they had six players involved, two of which came in clutch and won big.

Their Fortnite tandem Wolfiez and Rojo finished Fortnite World Cup – Duos at an impressive second place which earned them $2,250,000, while Jordan "Crimz" Herzog and Zach "Spades" Gifford claimed a 17th place and $100,000 in prize money.

Adding to their $2.35 million winnings in the Fortnite World Cup, Lazarus' Fortnite team also enjoyed success in other tournaments, adding another $1.3 million to the pot.

Heading into 2020, Lazarus will also count on their Hearthstone, PUBG and CS:GO roster among others, meaning we could be seeing a lot more of the Canadian organization in the future.

 

3. NRG Esports ($5.28 million)

After ending year 2018 with slightly under $1 million ($945,000), NRG Esports rose to the third spot with over $5 million in tournament winnings from their players and teams.

Just like it was the case with several teams on this list, the largest slice of their total winnings came from their Fortnite team, which earned $2.85 million. Their Overwatch squad (San Francisco Shock) added another $1.5 million by winning the Overwatch League in 2019, while their (former) CS:GO roster contributed $386,000 in the pot.

Another big payday came from NRG's Rocket League squad, which earned a grand total of $379,000 while their Apex Legends squad earned $124,000.

Boasting with some of the strongest teams and individuals in the esports scene, we can be sure NRG will be making their way back to the list next year, especially considering their Apex Legends squad will be competing in a $3 million Apex Legends Global Series in 2020, while, their newly acquired Call of Duty team (Chicago Huntsmen) will compete for $6 million in the inaugural Call of Duty League next year.

 

2. Team Liquid ($9.40 million)

Team Liquid reclaimed the number two spot, which they already occupied at the end of the last year, when they earned $6.69 million. This year, however, the North American esports organization earned a staggering 9.40 million, just $600,000 shy of breaking the eight-figure mark.

Out of all the teams on the list, Team Liquid without a doubt has one of the most diverse portfolios when it comes to their esports teams, yet it was their Dota 2, CS:GO, League of Legends and Fortnite, teams which saw the most success in 2019.

Their Dota 2 team contributed $5.08 million to the Team Liquid's pot with $4,462,908 alone coming from their second-place finish at The International 2019. Another big contributor was their CS:GO roster, which won an impressive $2.31 million in 2019.

Team Liquid's League of Legends team added another $455,000, while their Fortnite player River "Riversan" Handley earned $300,000 with his ninth-place finish at Fortnite World Cup – Solo.

 

1. OG ($15.84 million)

It was a massive year for OG, who once again claimed the number one spot on the list of the biggest earners of the year. Seeing them at the top once more should not come off as a surprise to anyone, considering their Dota 2 won their second consecutive International title earlier in August.

OG's Dota 2 roster pocketed $15,620,181 for their performance at the best-paid esports event in history, which was more or less all of the organization's winnings. OG also has a team that competes in Super Smash Bros, which contributed $900 to the pot.

It was the second year in a row OG ended the year as the best-paid team, and it was the second year in a row they did so due to the success of their Dota 2 team. Heading into 2020, OG has also fielded a CS:GO roster, and while it's not realistic to expect them to contribute $15 million by the end of 2020, we can be sure OG will make a return on the next year's list.

Are Riot Games developing an MMORPG?

League of Legends co-founder Marc Merrill released a statement this week, addressing the claims about a Riot Games’ MMO game and while he stated there were talks about it in the company, he also explained there are a few roadblocks in the way of achieving that goal.

While a well-known company, Riot Games have been ridiculed for having released only one game in 13 years since the company's establishment, and while their only game title – League of Legends, has grown to be one of the most popular games in the world, there was still one question that needed an answer: Will Riot Games step out of their shell and release a new game title?

For years there were no definite answers to that question until Riot Games decided to drop a bombshell during League of Legends 10-year anniversary celebration earlier in October when they revealed that they are working on a handful of new projects. In the announcement, Riot Games unveiled they are developing a new digital card game named Legends of Runeterra, an FPS game, which is currently only known as "Project A", a fighting game which is simply known as "Project L", as well as a mobile game "The Wild Rift", which is an abridged version of its PC counterpart – League of Legends.

Suffice to say, the whole gaming community accepted the announcement with open arms and while the long list of projects might be slightly overwhelming for some, there were still masses of people who were waiting for one more thing, which has been a hot topic of discussion for years – a Riot Games’ MMORPG.

When asked about the possibility of a League of Legends-based MMO, Riot CEO Nicolo Laurent did not hesitate to add some more oil to the fire by stating "Do you really think that we have revealed everything?” which only fired up the fans to dig deeper in search of hints and leaked information which would confirm the development of the game.

During the anniversary, Riot Games also teased an RPG-style game which bears the working name "Project F". At first glance, the game seemed like it could become Riot Games' next MMORPG, but Merrill went on the record to say the teased game was is not an MMO, but rather a completely different genre, which again sparked speculations there might be something else in the works behind the.

 Since then the rumours and speculations about Riot Games development of an MMORPG did not die out as fans were looking everywhere to find anything which would help them uncover the hidden Riot Games’ project.

The talk about the topic surfaced once again earlier this week when League of Legends co-founder Marc Merrill took an interview with Travis Gafford, where he went on the record to reveal that he and other developers at Riot had toyed with the idea of making an MMORPG over the past years in a build-up to the massive announcement made in October, but explained creating an MMO game is not as easy as it may seem.

“We would not do that kind of thing out of house. In order to do it justice, requires the best teams in the world, and that probably doesn’t even exist with a third-party developer,” said Merill.

He went on to add that such a project would cost the company US $100 millions from the get-go and it would take them a long time to even get into the highly competitive MMORPG market and possibly even years to become competitive with other MMO titles, such as World of Warcraft, Guild Wars, Black Desert, Destiny 2, Final Fantasy and others.

“These things are incredibly hard to make, and anyone who has ever built an MMO deserves a medal. It’s like shipping a freaking rocket, it’s so much work, it’s so hard to do, and we would really try to do it justice, and that’s not easy.”

While the news might have left some MMO fans dishearted, this is not the end of the road for Riot Games and their possible entry into the MMORPG scene. Considering the huge success of their core franchise, which has been a titan in the MOBA scene for over 10 years now, we can rest assured Riot Games is here for the long haul which just might mean, we could one day bear witness to the announcement of a heavily anticipated Riot Games’ very own MMORPG. Besides that, with numerous new projects on the horizon, the fans will have more than enough activities to keep themselves busy while they wait for that announcement, be it two, five or ten years down the line.

As it stands now, both Project A (FPS) and Project L (fighting game) are set to be released in a few years, while the heavily anticipated Project F (RPG) has no set release date yet, though it's expected for at least one of the three new games to see the light of the day by 2022 or possibly even sooner.

Blizzard Announces Shakeups, Possible Nerfs, and New Features for Hearthstone

Blizzard recently announced possibly major new changes to Hearthstone, the developer’s competitive card game companion to World of Warcraft. Hearthstone’s latest expansion, the “Tombs of Terror,” is currently underway. Blizzard is not planning on introducing impromptu changes to the latest expansion, but future additions may undergo notable changes.

Shakeup Coming to Standard Cards

Blizzard has big plans to return a number of Wild cards back to Standard, which could have huge implications for competitive gameplay. Early announcements indicate that 23 currently Wild cards would return to the Standard decks.

Hearthstone Standard decks have undergone several changes recently with some cards getting nerfed and others getting buffed. According to Blizzard, now that Standard decks seem solid, it’s time to introduce new changes.

Two heavy-hitting cards are expected to return to the Standard deck. One is N’zoth, a 5/7 Legendary minion. N’zoth has a powerful Battlecry that can summon Deathrattle minions that have already perished in the game. Ragnaros the Firelord, an 8/8 minion card, is also returning to Standard. This card is notable in that it can’t attack during a turn but randomly attacks an enemy at the end of the player’s turn.

Because such a change would affect deck trends, Blizzard is planning to distribute free copies of each card to players to get them participate in a meta-mixing event.

A Priest Class Card Could Get Removed or Nerfed

Some Hearthstone players are raising concerns that a class-specific card is giving priests an undue advantage in the game. The card in question is the Divine Spirit, which only costs two mana.

Divine Spirit lets priest players double a minion’s health. While this move can be very useful, the card becomes a powerhouse when used in combination with the one cost card Inner Fire, which allows a minion’s attack to become equal to its health.

The advantage this combo gives priest players is huge. When a Hearthstone commentator tweeted out an image of his absolute win rate with this combo, Blizzard apparently took notice. August Dean Ayala, a senior game developer working on Hearthstone, recently told media that Blizzard is “working on fixing” this particular overpowered combo.

He indicated that there are “plans” to remove Divine Spirit, as the developer believes the card could become a problem for Hearthstone in the future. There are no immediate plans to remove or nerf the card. Ayala said this change could come around set rotation time.

The priest class has already seen several changes during the “Saviors of Uldum” expansion released earlier this year. Priest decks were considered weak, so Blizzard buffed the low-cost card Extra Arms. However, Extra Arms was buffed up too much and this gave priests early access to powerful spells, throwing the win rate out of balance. Blizzard later nerfed Extra Arms by increasing its cost.

Blizzard has not officially announced changes to Divine Spirit. Therefore, the news is considered only a possibility, not a certainty at the moment.

There will be More In-Game Events in the Future

Blizzard said there would be a major “spooky” event coming to Hearthstone, inspired by the Fire Fest-EVIL event during the “Rise of Shadows” expansion. The developer was mum on the details but said that more information would be available on October 4th.

The Fire Fest was a huge success and Blizzard hopes to add more just like it in-game. Large-scale events like these give players highly desirable rewards, which prompt inactive players to return to the game just for the event.

The planned events are likely to include legendary quests, brawls, and dual-class arenas. The announced event for October is most likely Halloween-themed. Blizzard has a special event every Halloween on World of Warcraft.

Hero Portrait Updates are Coming

In a more aesthetic update, Blizzard is planning to introduce a hero portrait feature for players who win 1,000 ranked games with a class. Currently, players who win 500 ranked games with a class get a golden border around their hero.

Blizzard will retroactively count for the wins. That means ranked game winnings prior to the update will count towards the reward.

Hearthstone seems to be in the process of updating the graphics on hero portraits so that they match how the characters appear in World of Warcraft. For example, priest hero Anduin Wrynn’s Hearthstone appearance came from his old model used in the WoW Legion expansion. His Hearthstone portrait has been updated to match the newer model on the latest WoW Battle for Azeroth expansion.

The rise and fall of Team Liquid at MSI 2019

North America had quite possibly the most impressive run at an international tournament so far. Comparable to their 2018 success with Cloud 9 making a run at the semi-finals of Worlds, Team Liquid did what many thought they would never be able to do: Have a good international performance.

But, all of their efforts would become undone after they played what would later be known as the fastest international Best of Five set in League of Legends competitive history. Disgraced and absolutely demolished, Team Liquid were the point of jokes and laughter, whereas 24 hours prior, they were touted as the LCS’s carrier of dreams.

So, who is right? Is Team Liquid truly a failure? Or should we still consider their performance a win? Honestly, it’s a little of each, and that isn’t a bad thing.

No one believed in them

North America has been the absolute bottom of the jokes throughout the years of a competitive league of legends. Seen as a wild card region after previous years of play and disappointing international performances, no one held hopes for Team Liquid at the Mid-Season Invitational. Many believed they would fall to Phong Vu Buffalo in the play-in knockout stage.

And yet, they managed to make it out. After a 3-0 to Phong Vu Buffalo, they went on to play one of the more dirty group stage matches over the course of 5 days. Not only were they almost slated to lose in the group stage, with a possible 3 way tie for 4th place, they only ended up winning their key matches against 2 opponents: Flash Wolves and G2. After tehy beat Phong Vu Buffalo 2-0 and got a game off of G2 and Flash wolves each, they were able to barely secure 4th place.

And from here, a miracle happened. Invictus Gaming chose Team Liquid as their opponents for the semi-final match. Everyone expected an easy win for IG, but TL showed up. They went and played out of their minds, draining IG of their vitality by constantly putting up a fight at inhibitors and towers, skirmishing throughout the entirety of the series. This resulted in Team Liquid beating the 2018 Worlds champions, and stunning the entire world to go on to the finals of the Mid-Season Invitational.

But then, disaster struck.

 

The Fall

After TL beat IG in a 3-1 fashion, they watched as G2 fought a close battle with SKT, with G2 barely winning in a 3-2 series. Whether through complacency, or good old fashioned underestimation, TL went into the finals overconfident, and ended up getting absolutely slaughtered.

In just over 71 minutes of competitive play, Team Liquid was dismantled. This would then be known as the quickest international Best of Five series played on the competitive stage. It was completely heartbreaking, and it was made worse than the team that destroyed TL were G2, the European representatives.

 

What went wrong?

If you watched Team Liquid play in the finals in a secluded bubble, you would be wondering how in the world this group of ameteur players were able to even make it to the finals in the first place. They played sloppy, made unforced errors, and appeared to not make any corrections throughout all 3 games.

Not only that, CoreJJ didn’t have his usual luster that we were able to see during the IG series. He was constantly out of position, lost his summoners through unforced errors such as a botlane level 1 mini-skirmish, and pushing with next to no vision.

Along with that was the fact that Team Liquid didn’t even attempt to stem the flow of constant pressure from Jankos throughout the early game. In all three games, Jankos made constant level 2 and 3 ganks throughout the map. Game 1 saw Doublelift and CoreJJ being punished and camped, while games 2 and 3 saw Jensen and Impact pressured exceedingly. Through all this, it seemed Team Liquid were complacent, as we saw next to no corrections in attempting to curb the aggression out of G2.

Although G2 played exceedingly well, it was minor and major mistakes from Team Liquid that handed the series over to G2 in a little less than 2 hours of aired gameplay. Team Liquid were constantly on damage control, which then saw Xmithie attempt to help losing laners, resulting in his deaths throughout the game as well. All in all, they looked nothing like the dark horses stomping over IG in the semi-finals.

 

A Glimmer of Hope for North America

Although Team Liquid had possibly the most embarrassing moment of their career handed to them by the European squad, that does not mean that they should be chastised and punished. Yes, it was the finals of the Mid-Season Invitational, but that should not discredit their advancements and climb throughout. They went from being a play-in stage team to being the second best team in the world. They pushed past the analysts and naysayers, and proved the world wrong by almost winning the tournament.

Whether or not you are a fan of Team Liquid, the respect that they have brought to North America is undeniable. They beat the odds, and proved many wrong. If any team of North America wishes to take away any points from Team Liquid, the resilience and power to overcome mountains can be easily seen. The strengths of Team Liquid signal a possible revival of North America in professional play, at least as long as they don’t underestimate their opponents.
